I’m so happy I choose to do this course - I've done a few different courses on statement analysis and thought I “knew” statement analysis- I was so wrong! Now after taking this course and having Paul as a fantastic tutor, I know feel like I know Statement Analysis in a way I never did before, it’s been life changing, and so interesting and fun along the way! "I’ve always had a fascination with true crime since I was a child. I grew up with a father who was a Police Chief Inspector, so had an intrigue into how they caught the bad guys. I was interested in detective techniques and the ‘why’s’ of criminality. I’ve read many books about serial killers like Yorkshire Ripper, Jack the Ripper and Jeffrey Dahmer and was sure there should have been a way to catch them sooner. The Yorkshire Ripper for example was interviewed 3 times and still not arrested. I am 100% convinced that using Statement Analysis would have caught him earlier and saved many women’s lives. I was introduced to Statement Analysis by Paul 5 years ago and it was something I’d never come across but was fascinated by. The thought that there was a science and technique to reading and evaluating a written statement to show deception was just gold dust to me. I was in and well and truly hooked. I signed up for the course and followed the teachings, the recordings and the practice scripts provided. I listened to the course whilst out on walks, over and over and over again. I did it until I could almost say it all back verbatim. When we started doing live cases in the group, often cold cases or even ongoing ones (not mock ups), it was like someone had ‘turned on the lights’ as we all analysed each word in order. It took my breath away that we could unearth so much from seemingly so little. These techniques were like finding a unicorn. You would never have believed it could exist and to the outside world they all live in ignorance. It’s like wearing a pair of X-Ray glasses, looking at a script and it illuminating infront of you. The more you do it the more illuminated it gets. You’ve found the ‘cheat code’. This is it! Why on earth did I not know this existed before? It’s the most powerful thing I have ever learned and now it helps me when I read quotes in the newspaper and see appeals on the TV for missing people. to quickly see whether there are ‘markers’ which would suggest deception or untruths. It’s amazing what you will find. Once you know, you ‘know’. ​ It’s the best gift you’ll ever give yourself and you can never unlearn it !! "
